Man!  Today was kind of an emotional roller coaster for this guy! It was my last day serving in one of our regular Children’s Ministry services, and as I went to put on my name tag, I just stopped for a moment and reflected on the past two years in that ministry. I have had the honor of serving in several different areas at Milestone Church, all of which are wonderful environments, but being around those children fills me with so much joy. I fills my bucket, so to speak.

As I stood there looking at my name tag, I was overwhelmed by our Fathers love. Overwhelmed that He would use someone such as me to invest in the next generation. That parents would trust me to speak into the lives of their most prized possessions, their kids. That in the midst of all my brokenness and all my mistakes, God loves me so much that He has given me the righteousness of Jesus in order to be his hands and feet in a lost and hurting world.

If you fully dedicate your life to Jesus, one day, a year or two or three down the line you will look up and just be humbled and in awe at where you are. Jesus wants to take us to places that are greater than we ever imagined going, and use us to do things we never thought we would do. I certainly never thought I would fall in love with those kids the way that I did.

I don’t know what that looks like for you, but I encourage you, surrender your life, your passions, your dreams, fresh and anew, and WATCH the work our Father will do in your life.

21 More days….
