Hello Everyone!
In the past year, I have had the opportunity to go to Honduras and Trinidad. In those countries, we had the opportunity to minister and communicate to people how much God loves them. I got my first real look into the nations and how much God yearns for relationship with their peoples. God broke my heart for the nations and compelled me to radically live out Matthew 28:19-20 – to go into all the nations and make disciples and teach them everything the Lord has taught me. Through a lot of prayer and council, the Lord has called me to a life of missions and I am very excited to enter this journey!
I will be serving as a missionary through the organization Adventures in Missions, in their World Race program. The World Race is an 11 month missionary journey in which participants abandon everything they have at home and take a 50 pound backpack and live in 11 different countries for 11 months. Through adventure, ministry, self-discovery and community, World Racers develop broken hearts that propel their hands to act for God’s Kingdom around the globe. On the World Race, my team and I will serve in partnership with churches and ministries in local communities to preach the Gospel, plant churches, work in orphanages, minister to women and children who are trapped in prostitution as a result of human trafficking and bring the restoration and hope of the Father’s love to many tribes and nations.
Would you consider partnering with me, both prayerfully and financially, in this ministry? I must raise $16,300 in order to go on the World Race and an additional $4,700 to cover equipment costs, plane tickets to and from training camp, vaccinations, medications and personal expenses in the field, for a grand total of $21,000. I have less than five months before I leave on January 1st, 2014, and while that sum is substantial, it will cover everything I need for a year of missions. I have financial deadlines along the way, the First being $3,500 due September 27th. This financial support can be given as a one-time gift or as monthly donations. If 25 people commit to $60 a month for the next 11 months until July 2014, I will be fully funded for my trip costs. I am so excited to see how God will move in my life and the lives of others as I travel through three different continents in 2014. I know that God is radically going to change me on this journey. I hope not only to be a blessing to those I serve while I am gone, but also to you. I would be honored to go as your representative bringing Christ Jesus to nations around the world.
