Well, today was my first day raising support! I had two meetings and I have to say I think they went rather well. I felt the Lord telling me to keep my support raising process simple and simply meet with people and share the vision with them. Before I started this new season I always used to think of support raising as an impossible task, and it made me feel like this guy:
But heres the thing: God is the Author and the finisher of this chapter of my life. He called me to do this, He WILL provide. Mark 9:23 is one of my favorite verses " anything is possible for one who believes". That's a promise straight from the mouth of Jesus. I believe God will provide abundantly beyond anything I could ever imagine. When God gives you true vision for something, its exciting to meet with others to share that vision and show them how they can be a part of it!
Now I'm not saying this is going to be an easy process, but I have full confidence in my God. He is a big God, and I'm simply partnering with Him in what He is already doing in the world and my church family. So if anyone is reading this and is discouraged about their support raising, or about anything for that matter, just remember that God knows what you need.
Never forget to feed off of yesterdays miracles, to get through today.
