About a month ago, one of the girls on the squad, christina, needed over $7000 to stay on the race. Many of us posted blogs and facebook messages asking for help. Praise the Lord!!! she now only needs just over $300! Insanity!

This post is for a fellow “Will” on the team, Will McRae. He has made a video for us to post on our blogs. Please watch and spread the word. I don’t want to be the only “visible minority” on the team!

Also, my team and Brad’s team, Tribe of Judah, will be heading to our ministry on an overnight train ride. Too bad that we won’t get to enjoy the beautiful mountainous scnery. Maybe next time.  Here’s a bit of info:

“Gypsy Agape was started by John Fracker, an American
missionary who came to work in Viile Tecii. The gypsy people are an
unusual
demographic. Still largely discriminated against today they maintain a
way of
life that can seem archaic and difficult. Many of the houses in Viile
Tecii are
in disrepair and don’t have running water. Gypsy Agape’s vision is to
reach the
gypsy people in any way possible, to truly make disciples and not
converts.
Ministry generally looks like organizing group activities like women’s
and
men’s Bible studies, a young married’s group, children’s programs, etc.
Previous groups of Racers have held evening bonfires where the entire
community
would come after a hard day’s work and relax, worship and listen to the
Gospel.”

We are very excited  for this month and hope to update you with
lots of great stories of our time here.
