conditions and poverty I’ve experienced. People have very little, there is very
little infrastructure, and very little to do, except farm and stay out of the
sun.

NOT prevent you from actually getting malaria, but masks your symptoms. So in
essence, you could have malaria and not know it. There are pills that you can
take that will make you better if you DO get malaria. Doxy makes me vomit,
dizzy and feel like crap.
