For what did I sign up?

I did not sign up to eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches all the time, to be hungry most of the times.

I did not sign up to maybe not go to the countries that we were told that we would.

I did not sign up to deal with personal baggage.

I did not sign up to be broken before I can be healed, released.

I did not sign up to be changed even before the race started.

I did not sign up to give up control.

I did not sign up to love individuals I met 2 months ago for 10 days

…but I am so glad that I did.
