Well, I have made it to month 11! Wow! The very last month! This month has been one of my favorites so far. My team Street Food was combined with another all-girls team called Woven. Some of my favorite people on the squad are on Woven, so it was fun to be with them! Our ministry this month was working with a church: running English Bible camps, prayer walking around the island, strengthening the local leaders, stuff like that. Not only was this the first time our contact hosted a World Race team, but this was the first time a squad has come to South Korea at all! We are trailblazers this month!

Here are some pictures from the month!

^My team was on Jeju Island all month. Gosh it was beautiful!!! There’s a reason they call it “the Hawaii of Asia”!!! White sand, clear water.

^these are all of the kids for English Bible camp. We were split into three groups: ages 2-7, 8-13, and youth 14-17. Group shot!! So fun! I’m in the front right, not looking at the camera haha. The little girl behind me was showing me that she had written my name on her arm with a marker, cute! πŸ™‚

^Kalie (from Allen!) sporting my Texas t-shirt, leading the kids in an exercise. This day they were learning the days of creation.

^This is Kristen (from Alabama, team Woven) helping one of the kids color his Seven Days of Creation worksheet! On the first day, God separated light and dark. On the second day, God separated the water from the sky. On the third day, God separated land from water. πŸ™‚ And days four through seven are on the back!

^This is Jun. On this day we were learning about the Good Samaritan and that God wants us to be kind to others. They were to color on this coloring sheet and then bandage the hurt Good Samaritan. Adorable! The English Bible camp was two weekends, both Saturdays and Sundays. Jun asked our translator if he could come the third weekend. And she said no. And he said why. And she said that they are going to America. And he said why. Hahaha πŸ™‚ I’m gonna miss these kids!

^this little boy’s name is Joy. And he brought me so much joy! We were coloring and then started goofing off. He has the biggest personality. He kept wanting me to film him dancing silly! He’s a goof ball!

^me reading some English books to the kids πŸ™‚

^our last class day, we did facepainting. πŸ™‚ They LOVED it!!!! These little guys are brothers and they were my favorite family. The older one is Joy and the younger brother is Paul. Actually, we were told his name was Paul. And then we found out his name is actually David, but he likes to be called Paul. Hahaha silly. He answers to both πŸ™‚ I will miss these sweet faces!

^a group of about 100 Koreans from the mainland (Seoul, mostly) came down to Jeju for a mini mission trip. We worshipped together here at this church. It is a ministry site dedicated to the first Christian martyr on Jeju Island.

^lunch with some of the visiting mainland Koreans. True Asian style: sushi on floor mats!

^this is a popular Korean dish called Bibimbap. Usually there is also meat and other things, but mine is vegetarian! Build your own! YUM!

^Prayer walk around Jeju Island

^Jeju Island waterfall! One of the only waterfalls in Asia that empties into the ocean. Beautiful way to end a long day of prayer walking!!!

^celebrated my 30th birthday with street waffles!!! This is Grace (from SC) and Kalie (from Allen!)

^Happy Fourth of July!!!

^I’m coming home in 7 days!!!!!!!!!!
