Hello family and friends! For me, it is midday on Friday September 26. Y’all are all sleeping Thursday night away. So crazy being halfway around the world from you!

We leave Hampi and the coffee shop tomorrow. We go to Bellary for a few days before heading to Bangalore to catch our flight to Nepal. The coffee shop ministry has been going really well! We had a music party yesterday. About 50 people came! My teammate Edie prepared all of the coffee and tea. I was the hostess! Taking orders, delivering drinks, refilling cookie trays, etc. πŸ™‚ Steff, LeAnna, Tera, and Jordan were out with the people singing lots of Indian songs, Israeli songs and German songs (lots of trekker tourists in Hampi). A local music man brought over several instruments. It was beautiful and so fun! A great way to close out our ministry here in Hampi, by being with the people and serving them. Three girls are coming in one week to take over the coffee shop for a year. We are praying for their ministry as we leave!

We have been collecting donations for the free coffee and tea. This money first goes to cover the milk purchase for the day (water buffalo milk). And the rest of the money collects over a years time and goes back out into the community. Last year they paid to send some kids to school and to cover school supplies. So incredible that our couple of weeks here will leave a lasting impact on the village!

We will miss our little coffee shop Shalom Namaste All Tribes Cafe but we know that God has a plan for us in Nepal for month two.

Here are several pictures of MONTH 1 = INDIA:

^Rooftop in Bellary India at sunrise. I look so sleepy,  I had just woken up! πŸ™‚

^Rooftop photo session, so silly πŸ™‚

^A typical lunch in India: roti and naan, rice yogurt, fried rice, dahls and curries. That’s a spoon in a soup. Other than that, eat with your hands! Oh, and don’t drink the water!! Bottled water only!
