For months now I’ve been dreaming of training camp.
Sleeping in tents, meeting family, trying new foods, watching God move in ways I’ve never seen.

Sounds like the life, right?

Now I’m sitting in my home, being back from a week of training for about 24 hours.
Training camp was a beautiful week of no expectations.
I was stretched, uncomfortable, and vulnerable.
After about 2 days, I was ready for home.

I met my awesome Z squad and never doubted God’s plan for us to be together.
These people were strangers last saturday and today they are family.

Training camp taught me so much.
I learned to never put God in a box, He’s so much bigger than that.
I learned to be vulnerable.

I learned to have no expectations.
I learned to live in community.

In light of having ZERO expectations:

My route has changed.

Zambia

Malawi

Estonia

Latvia

Lithuania

China

Mongolia

Thailand

Cambodia

Vietnam

Nepal

In all honesty, I was kinda bummed about these changes. India was so heavy on my heart. BUT God’s plan is so much more beautiful than mine and I can now say that I am so excited for these changes.

Z squad will be the first in Mongolia!

Second announcement:

As of now I will be doing life with a team of all females.

I still have a long way to go, though!
I still have gear to purchase and vaccinations to get.
And I also still need $3,600 to meet my next deadline.
