To my friends and family,
About a year ago, I decided to give my life to Christ. Since then, He has put missions on my heart. In January 2014, I will serve as a missionary on The World Race. The World Race is a program run by Adventures In Missions (AIM), an interdenominational Christian organization. On The World Race I will be serving in 11 countries over an 11 month period. I am planning on traveling to Asia, Africa and points in far Eastern Europe.*
Through my travels my teammates and I will be the hands and feet of Jesus as we spread the love of God, as well as serving with local churches, working with orphanages, caring for the sick, do construction work, minister to women and children trapped in prostitution and human trafficking, and making the Gospel known. I am excited to travel and to see how God moves in these other countries. I am also excited to be deeply rooted into a community of other Christians that are passionate to know Jesus and make Him known.
Some of you may not share my belief in Christ, but you do believe in me, and share my desire to make a difference in this world! Those of us participating in the World Race will be a voice for so many who have no voice. We are blessed, that we might be a blessing!
I am so thrilled to be called to this adventure, and I know that God will provide. I am writing to ask you to join me in this journey either financially or with constant prayer. I must raise $15,500 in order to go on The World Race, and this will cover all expenses while I’m at training camp and on the field. Any financial support can be given as a one time gift or a monthly donation where you choose the amount and beginning and end dates. I have included information on a second page. Even the smallest amount would be a huge blessing.
