Once upon a time, in a tiny town called Killen, Alabama, there lived a young woman named Whitney Berryman. Although she was fond of her birthplace–its friendly people, natural beauty, and musical soul–she dreamed of serving her Father, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, in faraway lands.

You see, at the age of 15, her Father opened her eyes to a world in desperate need, a world containing physical poverty and spiritual slavery. Her heart was deeply moved. She longed to be her Father’s hands and feet in the world, to reflect the immense grace and endless love that her Father had always shown her because she knew that He desired to show that grace and love to all people.

Although it was difficult for her to contain her eagerness to serve, Whitney waited for her Father’s permission to go, for she trusted that His timing was perfect and His direction was of the utmost importance. To her joy, her Father sent her on a journey called the World Race at the age of 23.

This is a record of her adventures for His glory.
