During our time in Serbia on our last day, we were invited to lunch by a lovely Serbian woman named Zizi. Our time with Zizi was so special, she welcomed us into her cozy little home & made us a delicious Serbian meal & dessert! She couldn't speak any English, so Julie was our translator as Zizi told us her life story & how God has been by her side through thick & thin; & to this day she praises His name for being her everything! To hear her story was so special because I could see it was coming straight from her heart, she was so genuine & so sweet! She shared with us how she loves having guests over even though her home is small & she can't fit as many as she would like; she still loves blessing others in one way she can & that is through a nice meal & conversation. It's meeting people like Zizi around the world who make a country we travel to soo special & we get to leave that country with an extra special memory in our hearts. I left Zizi's home feeling so blessed & touched by her, she truly served us out of love & from her heart. Oh & her Serbian meal was AMAZING!!!!! So delicious!!
