So our time in South Africa is coming to an end, we will be heading to Mozambique next week. We started our month out doing ministry with "Christ Amazing Love Ministries," however, we felt what God called us to there had been completed so this past week we spent at Oceanview with KINDERGARTENERS!
We got to be the "Special guests from another country" & it was so much fun ! The children LOVED having special guests & loved on us & we loved on them ! Ashley & I visited "Aquilla Day Care" & I feel truthfully the best way I can describe our time there is through photos! So here are a bunch of photos I took throughout the week!
I just want to say that being around kindergardeners really brought back memories from my own childhood, so many times a kid would do something that only a kid would think to do & I would right away remember when I used to do that! It was fun especially since they were practising for their Christmas play for their school presentation. Most of the songs they sang were songs I sang at Christmas plays when I was little. This week was a refreshing week, & it reminded me of how precious children are to the Lord, yes they say the darndest things, & yes they were often little taddle tales saying "Teacher Wendy so & so did this," but overall, their innocense & their childlike love was so refreshing to be around! I left after 4 days there feeling so blessed by our time there & we were reassured time after time that we were sent by God this week as it was a stressful week for the teachers who had to sew all the costumes & make all the props for the Christmas play; Ashley & I were there to keep the children distracted!
