So yesterday we had a chance to go back to Arcalia (apparently this is the correct spelling for it) and work with the ministry there to help the church continue to gain some ground in the community. This was such an amazing time to love on the people and point them towards Jesus. The leaders of the church have a great heart for Christ and want to see Jesus lifted up in the community. One of the most moving moments was when Tiffany sang “Mighty to Save” in Romanian. The people there were really moved by not only the song but that she took the time to learn it. It was pretty gripping for me as well.

The Kingdom of God is so much bigger than anything to do with America or even the American church. It is a global movement of the people of God for the renown of God in the world. It happens when believers risk it all because their souls have been made so alive by Jesus that they can not do anything else but shine His light into whatever is dark in the world and in shinning that beautiful light, get a chance to see God change the world through them.

I preached after that from Colossians 1 about how Jesus has the supremacy in all things because of the fact that He is the glorious creator of all things and how He has reconciled us to God through the cross of Christ. The heart of it was that the church must be built on Jesus and nothing else. If the church is built on anything but Jesus and lifting up the cross of Christ, it will fail. But if the church is built on Jesus, it will shine the brightest light into the world. The Holy Spirit showed up in a cool way and it was awesome just to watch the Lord work. Here are some pictures from the service and a video of Tiffany singing. My camcorder can’t be charged right now so I had to shoot this on my Nikon which is why the quality of the video is a little shaky. Enjoy.
