So on Sunday, I witnessed something that could probably only be described by using words like “Glorious” or “Majestic”.
Earlier in the week, our team had gone to the city of Arkalah and began to pray with some of the locals for the Spirit of God to awaken their community. There is a small pocket of believers there that truly love Jesus and want to see a village awakened to His glory.
Earlier in the week, our team had gone to the city of Arkalah and began to pray with some of the locals for the Spirit of God to awaken their community. There is a small pocket of believers there that truly love Jesus and want to see a village awakened to His glory.
And so the Lord poured out His Spirit on the village and on Sunday morning, our team traveled to the village and helped with the first ever church service. It was beyond words. To see a Body of believers birthed was absolutely amazing and my heart was totally blown away. This is now a village that has a light against the darkness. Right now, it is just a candle. But the people here truly do love God and believe that He will awaken their community to Him. The church is God’s answered for everything that is wrong in the world and now this village has a local Body that is committed to shinning against darkness. Praise God!!
You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
