// 3 Countries in 3 Weeks //

Nicaragua • Honduras • El Salvador

Where do I start. The last few weeks have been a whirl wind of miracles and goodbyes. When we arrived in Nicaragua our squad experienced a weekend of refreshment, teaching, celebration and awakening. Fusion squad and our sister squad merged and joined the local church community to worship and seek the Lord together through, workshops, church life and fellowship. For me this time was incredible for reflection and prayer. And the Lord used me to pray for many people and I s aw so much breakthrough in my brothers and sisters.

We met Nathan, a long term missionary at this conference and a few days after it ended we traveled with him and another friend to Leon. Our time in Leon was marked by prayer walks, sharing the gospel with tourists and sledding down a volcano. Our group kept growing and growing and I was reminded how attractive Jesus is to the world even if they are not attracted to the institution of the church. While there we met two long term missionaries from Honduras, Rachel and Lindsey.

After Leon we said goodbye to so many friends and traveled North to Esteli. We did many prayer walks and got to share Jesus in the park. The gospel is as simple as playing games, listening to Christian music and inviting people to join.

Remember Rachel and Lindsey? They connected us to Eternal Family Project a girls home in northern Honduras. We spent one week with them and my heart fell in love with that community. From teaching English, doing laundry, making meals, dancing and studying for tests we entered everyday life and they became our family. There is one backpackers hostel in the area that we frequented for meals and wifi. The Lord used our consistency there to pray for backpackers and staff which is a testament to the Lord’s relentless pursuit of us. There are no off days to being a Christian. We finished our week in Honduras in the Capitol where we caught up with Rachel and Lindsey! And we got to stay with my friend Ashley from Olivet!

Now I am in El Salvador. How did I get here? Well, our dear friends at Oceans Edge in Costa Rica have a sister ministry here and they connected us. I reached out to La Red Ministries and we began praying together on what it would look like to serve with them. Rewind to Nepal! When we got team changes and began praying together the Lord kept showing me and my team mates the color red and pictures all in red, this was before Costa Rica. And that has continued and now we are finally in La Liberdad; the city of liberty which our team verse is, “where the spirit of the Lord is there is freedom.” And working at this church/community development center called La Red which means the network or net like a fishing net. We are fishers of men seeking the kingdom in everything.

Soon it will be time to say another goodbye as we head north to Guatemala for our last few weeks on the WR before heading back to the USA. Continue to pray for us as we look for jobs and seek the Lord on what is next.
