First of all, my apologies for the blog drought.  It's been tough finding internet in the places I've been stationed in Africa.  It's like the never ending hunt for internet that won't crash every 5 minutes.

Anyway, I figure it's better if I put at least something down while I have it now.

As we were preparing to leave Kenya, we were trying to evaluate the impact we had on the community and wondering if our door to door visits actually made any difference.  On our last night, as we were packing up to leave the next morning, we recieved one last visit from one of the Pastors we worked with.

He began to tell us how he had just finished following up on all the houses where we prayed for physical healing.  He listed off all people who were completely healed.  There was a woman with an injured hand who could now use it again.  And a woman who couldn't walk before was now walking.  And countless people who had Malaria were cured… It was a very encouraging night to hear of all that God did and how much healing he brought to the people.

Update:  I'm in Mbarara, Uganda now.  We're working with The Promise Football Club.  That's right, this month is sports ministry!  The Promise uses sports to build relationships with the teens and usher them into a relationship with Christ.  So far, I haven't gone a day without playing in a soccer match.

But, we will also be teaching in the schools, visiting hospitals, leading Bible Studies…  Pastor Solomon has a lot of work for us to do this month.

Praise report:  One of the members of my team was diagnosed with Malaria a couple of weeks ago.  Thankfully, after taking the proper meds, he is now Malaria free.  Please continue to pray that we stay healthy during these last 3 months of the World Race.

I will try to keep you posted as much as I can but I never know when I'll be able to find good internet.  So, thank you for being patient with the updates!
