We went back to the private Christian school in Patel.  The school is located in the middle of a very safe, small "neighborhood."  Picture it this way, the road makes a big "U" shape off the highway with the homes lining the outside of the U while the school is in the center.

As we drive down the dirt road, past the shacks and small farms, the kids start flooding out of their homes, lacing up their shoes.  I guess 18 white Americans standing in the back of a pick up truck is something to get excited about!  The truck stops and the squad scatters around the area.

Nate, Ash, Dave and I head to the soccer field.
Kayla, Courtney, and Liz start visiting homes and reconnecting with acquaintances.
Becca sets up to "do" hair for the little girls.
Nikki's chasing down horses that broke from their leashes
Ben's hanging out with the cooks, getting a taste of what he says was the best Chalupa of his life.
Jaime's smiling with the little one's and taking some great photos.
And Jake wanders in between it all, hitting the buffet of everything, our regular utility man.

Everyone doing their part, using the gifts God gave us to form relationships.  Saturating the area!

We only stay for a couple of hours, then we load up to head home.  Nate and I, drenched in sweat.  Dirt covering our legs.  The kids are hanging off the side of the truck as we continue to talk about Barcelona and Real Madrid.  A couple of them laugh when I tell them I'm a Liverpool fan!  They play silly games like trying to decide which one looks "whiter," Nate or I?  it's amazing how easy it is to have fun with them.  The truck engine starts up and the boys hop off the side.

But, on our way out of the neighborhood, we stop outside the home of a man whose time is limited, to say the least…

To be continued…
