Training Camp was amazing I met a lot of really cool people who are just as excited as i am to start our 11 month journey around the world. Last week was not only a moment for me to separate myself from what I know to be "normal" but, to understand what it is like to live in a place where people are dealing with serious issues like: Child Prostitution, Lack of Clean Drinking Water, Human Trafficking, HIV, Hunger, Malaria etc.

After a morning session of discussing all of these issues I began thinking to myself, now that I know about these issues what am I willing to do, to help? Do others know about this & would they even care?

The World Race Training camp was a huge wake up call for me as in individual and I began asking myself these questions.
Who am I?
What am I living for?
Why am I content with my day-to-day routine?

I challenge you to:

Try going a day with out eating? Millions of people experience this everyday!

Every time you walk into your kitchen to get a glass of drinking water, think of the 4,100 people who will die of unclean water related issues. (Charity Water)

Anytime you put a pair of shoes on think of the children in developing countries who grow up barefoot and develop diseases because they don't wear shoes. (TOMS Shoes)

WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU HAD TO THINK TWICE ABOUT . . . your next meal, drinking clean water, getting foot infections, having the fear of being prostituted, or trying to find a safe place to lay your head at night?
