We are going to INDIA tomorrow!
We never know quite what to
expect, but here’s a brief preview:
My Team Banah (plus Jacob & Ian from Team Fuse) will be in the
city Bangalore,
(previously called Bengaluru, and nicknamed Town of Boiled Beans – hmm). It is home to 6 million people, many of whom work
in the field of IT (technology) – hopefully
this means that we will have regular and speedy internet access! Our contact is an international missions
organization that promotes healthy families.
We may get to work in slums and/or with college students.
Team Fuse (girls
only) will also be in Bangalore,
but they will be working with an organization that deals with human
trafficking, helping former prostitutes transition into a healthier
lifestyle.
Team Lunchbox, Team Clay, Team Holy Banditz
will be located in villages in the foothills of the Himalayas. They will be partnering with local churches,
discipling the community members.
and Team Remnant will be “Asking The
Lord” what to do when they arrive in Calcutta!
