If you know me, then you know that I don’t care at all about fashion trends.  My typical wardrobe is very plain: jeans (or khaki capris for work) and a solid bright colored shirt.  I’ll whip a scarf around my neck if it’s chilly.  The only exceptions to these ordinary outfits are traditional ethnic dress, which I absolutely love to wear (I have had a few skirts made with African fabric, and I can’t wait to get a sari in India!), and weird costumes now and then, like for school spirit days.
Since I am traveling around the world for a year with only a backpack, my wardrobe is even more limited than usual.  In fact, due to weather and cleanliness, we often end up wearing mismatched stuff. Fortunately, no one else cares either.

No one except Miss Shiloh Schneider, Fashion Police.
My squadmate has exceptional style in “real life” but she too is limited this year.  She and my other squadmate Brandon Clayton sport matching skinny jeans.  But whereas he prefers white V-neck tees and a whistle necklace, she covers up with oversized plaid button-ups.   Where is the style, you might ask?  Trust me.

Shiloh very seldom posts blogs, but she has a flair for fashion commentary.  If you want a good laugh and a peak at African fashion, click here and read her next post too

Here’s a teaser:
Another widely seen accessory is layering of necklaces.
I
thought chokers would never come back into style – boy, was I wrong!
