“I can do it!  I can do it!” insisted Man-Man,
as he jumped fearlessly from the edge of the pool and splashed into my arms.

“And me!  I jump!  I jump!” cried Pauline, a little more cautiously.

We were at a neighborhood swimming pool, and the kids from the New Faith Children’s Home were playing after their swim lessons.  A visiting group of students and their families from Morrison Academy (a Christian international school in Taiwan) had partnered with Kids International Ministries to facilitate the teaching of this important life skill.

You may know, I’m not much of a lap swimmer, but I sure do like to play, and
I don’t know if I have ever had more fun at the pool than last week!

Check out the photos below!

When not catching the wild kids, I took it easy with some of the calmer kids.

Jeff tossed kids into the pool.  We all (including Braedon, Tangi, Lindsay, Katie, Brandon) had fun!

Many of the kids learned how to dive, hold their breath,
do actual strokes and underwater flips, etc.

But Moses & Angel preferred playing with beach toys over actually getting too wet.
