We’re in Hyderabad, India. Holla!!! It was quite the process to get here but we made it and it is going to be an amazing month. It is already nothing like we would have expected. We heard horror stories about how busy and dirty India is, neither of those could be more untrue… well, at least where we are. My team, Ruthless Trust, is working with another team, 26 Letter Redemption, at Sarah’s Covenant Homes (schindia.org). SCH is a group of homes set up for mentally and physically handicapped children where they can be loved and cared for by the foster moms, staff and volunteers. In the mornings we all have our own children that we work with one-on-one with various disabilities and ages. I get to work with Isaiah, a sweet 2 year old boy with Cerebral Palsy. After lunch with do different kinds of service projects, this week included office work. For those of you that don’t know, a day filled with holding Isaiah and doing office work is my version of heaven.
We are living in the basement of SCH’s Rescue Home, which means free time will often consist of holding babies. Holy crap are these kids cute and cuddly!

a HUGE thank you to everyone that has supported me, this month has been filled with memories when I first heard about the Race and wondered if I would actually get to do it…now here I am in month 7. Wild!
I am still about $3,000 away from my final deadline that is due on the 31st of the month. If I don’t meet the deadline, there is a chance I may be sent home. If you feel led to donate, please click the “support me!” link. Thank you in advance for all your prayers and financial support!
