Let’s see . . . I am 27 years old and totally an Oregon girl at heart! I love the coastal waters, the clean, crisp air, and the scenic views of trees, mountains, and waterfalls. I lived on the Oregon coast for the majority of my life and am currently an online college student. After five years, I recently moved home to spend time with my family before leaving for The World Race.  I am so excited to see what God has planned on this 11 month adventure!

I have a wonderful mother and a family full of brothers and sister; to which I happen to be the middle child. My mother is the best! The sacrifices she has made for us are endless. As for my sibs, they all are equally unique and have a special place within my heart. My nieces, all five of them, are the most adorable and quite possibly, some of the most inspiring people I have met. They are always learning, continually growing, and love unconditionally.

It was during my freshman year of high school, that I dedicated my life to Christ. During a weekend event at my church, I came to the realization that my life had purpose. Over the next several years, my faith walk hit highs and fell flat. Exhausted with the rollercoaster ride of my Christian life, I moved to Ohio for bible college in hopes something would change; and it did. God radically changed my life. I fell in love with a Sovereign Savior full of grace and mercy. His love become real, His plans concrete, and His passion experienced.  He is truly awesome. I so excited for the opportunity He has given me to fulfill His Great Commission and humbled that He has trusted me to be a part of it.

On a lighter note, I am sentimental and practical. I love hanging out with family and friends. I am tenacious and determined, but not at all to be confused with being stubborn. 🙂 Oh, I enjoy celebrating birthdays; especially, other peoples! I am not a fan of those sappy, love movies with the exception of a few and a very few at that. Exercise has recently become an essential part of my daily life. I prefer face-to-face conversations to phone calls, but I love texting. Early, early mornings are my most favorite time of the day. There’s something special about the early hours of the day, when it’s still dark and everyone’s asleep that I thoroughly enjoy!

"Do all the good you can, by all the means you can,  in all  the ways you can, in all the places you can, at all the times  you can, to all of the people you can, as long as you can." John Wesley

"Are the things you are living for worth Christ dying for?" Leonard  Ravenhill

"Our greatest fear is not that we are inadequate, but that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, handsome, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God within us. It is not just in some; it is in everyone. And, as we let our own light shine, we consciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our fear, our presence automatically liberates others." Marianna Williamson

"People are often unreasonable, illogical and self centered; Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; Succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; Be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you've got anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and your God; It was never between you and them anyway." Mother Teresa

So there you have it, a little about me! 🙂
