It’s so hard to believe that our month in Ukraine has ended. The weeks just seemed to fly by, full of new friends, good times, and lots and lots of laughter. The adult English camp we ran our last week in Rivne was a huge success! We had over 70 students, and had a ton of fun teaching them English and building relationships with them. The finale for the week was a weekend retreat away from town, at a beautiful and peaceful retreat center. We were able to share stories, pictures, and videos from the Race with our students, as well as American camping traditions like s’mores and hot dogs over a campfire. Our entire time in Rivne was also spent building relationships with members from the church. We loved hanging out with all the Tanias, with Anna, Albina, Peter, Dima, Angelina, Diana, Olya, and many other sweet friends. We fell in love with the people and the culture of Ukraine.
