A little survey for my fellow U-Squaders:



What is your favorite season and why? Summer! I don't mind the North Carolina heat, I feel so much more relaxed, and I LOVE the longer days and time spent outside!



Where is the coolest place you’ve ever been? Probably Laguna de Apoyo, a lake in a dormant volcano in Nicaragua. I got to go swimming and kayaking in it, and it was amazing!



What is your favorite iPhone (or subpar alternative) app? Hay Day…having a virtual farm is cool

 

What was your favorite food when you were a child? Meatloaf

 

What’s your favorite food now? Spaghetti



What is your biggest pet peeve? People chewing with their mouths open



Do you have any strange habits/quirks? I like textures and will spend longer than necessary touching textured things. And when I walk through a store or down a street, I touch things like Monk does. 



If 10 of your friends were asked to describe you in one word, what would be the most common response? Dedicated. I see things through to the end, and when I make a commitment, I do my best to uphold it.

What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity? Indoor: Reading, drawing, and painting. Outdoor: Archery, hiking, geocaching/letterboxing, photography



What is your favorite fast food restaurant? Chick-fil-A



What is your favorite form of exercise? Hiking/going on a walk



What is your favorite sound? Birds singing, kids laughing, my dog barking to greet me

 

What is your favorite smell? Roses, a pine forest, cedar, Christmas trees



If you were invisible for a day, what would you do? Listen to conversations, write things on a wall to freak people out, pull pranks



If you had to change your first name, what would you change it to? I dunno…I LOVE my name because it's a unique spelling and a lot of meaning behind it. Ask me to tell you the story sometime



If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet and why? Jennifer Lawrence because I feel like she and I would get along really well. And also Paul from the Bible, and Neil Armstrong. 



If you had a movie made of your life, what celebrity would you want to play you? Jennifer Lawrence or Alexis Bledel 



What do you want to be when you grow up? A stay-at-home wife and mother. I want to  homeschool my kids!



What do you like to do in your free time? Read, paint, draw, hike, watch Netflix, practice archery, photography, hang out with my family

 

If you had to eat the same thing every day for the rest of your life, what would it be? Apples



What is your favorite beverage? Dr. Pepper and chocolate milk



What is your favorite childhood memory? Riding my bike around my old neighborhood with my friends on a lazy summer day

 

What’s the thing you’re most excited about regarding the WR? Strengthening my relationship with God, forming deep relationships with other people, and seeing the world!

 

What’s the thing you’re most scared of regarding the WR? Being homesick…for sure! I love my family and North Carolina and will miss both terribly!!!



What is your favorite movie/show/book? Movies: Lion King, Hunger Games, Forrest Gump, Return to Me, Beauty and the Beast, anything by Pixar, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Brave
Shows: Friends, Phineas and Ferb, Wife Swap, Deadliest Catch, Top Shot, Monk
Books: The Bible, the Phantom Tollbooth, the Chronicles of Narnia, the Hunger Games series, the Hobbit, anything by Jodi Picoult

 

If you could be any animal for a day, what would it be? A hawk

 

What is your favorite sport to play/watch? To play: Baseball, ultimate frisbee, archery. To watch: Hockey, football.
