Ask any number of our Alumni Racers what their favorite continent was from their Race and they’ll tell you: it’s all about Asia. That’s why we’ve decided to try something new: an all Asia route, launching in September 2014.

Far from what many think, there’s more to Asia than China and Japan. Don’t get us wrong, we’ve danced on the Great Wall and we’re excited to eat sushi in Japan but there’s more. In fact, we’d go as far as to say that maybe you don’t need to venture to Africa and Latin America and Europe to experience diversity when you can do it all in Asia—after all, more than half the population of the world lives there.

That’s a BIG statement but don’t worry. We can back it up.

On our All Asia World Race Route, you could take a plane around the heights of Mount Everest or swim in the gorgeous water off the islands of the Philippines. You may hike through the desert of Mongolia or take an elevator to the tops of the Petronas Towers in Kuala Lumpur. You may have a chance to see some of the wonders of the world: the Taj Mahal, Angkor Wat, or the Great Wall of China itself.

And that’s not even the ministry opportunities.

We have incredible partnerships with ministries that care for orphans in China and India. You might work with street kids in the Philippines or a coffee shop caring for trafficking victims in Thailand. You could teach English in Vietnam or work in a rehabilitation center in Cambodia. You may explore countries like Japan that are newer to the World Race and find unsung heroes to join hands with there.

So if you’re looking for incredible adventures, priceless ministries and the chance to invest 11 months in the world’s largest, most populous continent, this route is for you. Check it out here.

And while you’re at it, check out this sweet dance video from one of our Alumni squads. See, we really do dance on the Great Wall.
