Our lives are full of decisions, small or large, that end up changing our lives.

Where we go to school, who we date, what we major in, what job we decide to go for, where we move, who we marry…

Most of our Racers would say the same thing about their Race; however small or large their decision was to go, it changed them, their families, and their lives.

"…somewhere over these 5 months, the atmosphere of my heart has changed—I was walking in confidence and security, clinging hard to the Spirit of God in me, the Spirit that says my passion… is real.  The Spirit in me that does love well, because my love is genuine.  The Spirit in me that finally knows and believes that I am enough, simply because He says so." – Patty Reed, Jan '13 N Squad

"In the last two months I have seen boldness in myself that was not there before. I was fearing man and not speaking up. As I move forward I see other fears that are deeper and as each is reviled I learn things about my self and about my great and awesome GOD!" – Megan Durfee, Jan '13 M Squad

"I have realized that by recognizing the good in me, in who my Creator has made me to be, isn't prideful, its the opposite. It's giving God praise and glory for the good He has done in me, and continues to do, and allowing Him to use my gifts the way He intended. I am His precious daughter, and my identity, and who I am, is all in through and by Him. That is not something to negate or think lowly of or shrug off in false humility. That is something to walk in with joy and gratitude." – Elizabeth Klar, Jan '13 O Squad

The lessons learned on the Race vary between individuals. What we have noticed over the years however, is that your Race becomes exactly what your Race needs to be. We chock it up to the undeniable beauty of God's story for each of His individually created children.

It doesn't matter if you're in the middle of school, or the middle of life, God can and will use your Race to help you become who you're supposed to be. He's proven, story after story, that He's faithful in providing, in showing up, and in teaching.
