In honor of Cinco de Mayo, we’re tipping our sombreros to our first-ever Spanish route launching this January, and we’ve gotta say: Es tiempo por una adventura.

Cinco de Mayo, Semana Santa, Dia De Los Muertos, and Quinceañera.

All these things you’ve learned about in history and Spanish classes will come to life before your eyes as you spend 11 months journeying down cobblestone streets of Antigua, embracing the pura vida lifestyle of Costa Rica, and seeing the wildlife of the Amazon.

More than that, you’ll get to be part of the work the Lord is already doing across Latin America when you fight spiritual warfare, give hope to the hopeless, provide food for the hungry, instill joy in once-dry hearts, and dig wells where there was no clean water.

Let him intertwine this work with the work he’s already doing in your heart.

Maybe you’ve studied Spanish since middle school without an opportunity to put it into practice. Maybe you’ve fallen in love with Latin America and want to spend more time there. Maybe you’re just curious about the second most popular language in the world (second to Mandarin). Whether you’re in one of these categories or somewhere between, we believe you will encounter not only the rich culture of Latin America, but also the heart of God for these people.

We may not know your story — yet. But this is what we do know: young adults like you are sick of the status quo. They’re tired of routine and ready to live with purpose, a purpose destined by God.

What about you?
