If I Could Be Any Age Forever…Jamie Neumann

If I could be any age forever…Option 1 would be 4. Think about it… your job is to play all day long and enjoy life in the sense that you see beauty in the small stuff. Joy is all around you. Giving and getting love is your prerogative. Anyone else’s philosophies or theologies don’t indoctrinate 4 year olds. They just accept what is… as truth. No if, ands, or buts about it. They don’t question life they just live.
 
 
 

First week in Puerto BarriosAndy Ross

On Saturday we crammed all 14 of us (Team Rhema, Team Logos and Andrea, one of our Squad leaders) into a “15 passenger van” which had we been in the states would have been a huge van with a V10 engine. But here in Guatemala and most of the rest of the world it is a small Toyota van that has small car tires, a 4-cylinder diesel engine, and five rows of three seats one of which folds up so you can get to the rows behind it.
 

There is Rejoicing in Heaven! Jessica Bauman

Last night, our last time at the Teen Challenge Coffee House was incredible!  During this time, my teammate, Chris shared some of his testimony and lessons he has learned in his life. He shared how he had tried to fix his life on his own by earning something. By trying to work harder or do more “good” things. He made it clear that this is a dead end road.
