Training Camp
It was so nice to finally meet the team! Quickly, a community with brothers and sisters began to emerge. I don’t want to ruin any of the surprises that come with training camp, so I’ll keep this short. I arrived at camp with a few expectations but quickly learned to let them go…don’t expect:
To be comfortable (spiritually, physically, or even emotionally)
To leave the way you arrived
To walk alone
Not to dance…
Delicious food
Brokenness is beautiful in the Presence of God! It’s amazing; we can only stand when He allows us to. His whisper, “Talk to Me, I’m waiting to hear from you” is irresistible.
Throughout training camp, we would take time to simply listen to our Father; rest in the promise that He is in control. We discovered strengths in ourselves and each other that could only come from the LORD.
Carrying the burdens of others, while allowing them to carry mine, was both humbling and empowering for me. The phrase that has stuck with me is “bring the Kingdom to earth.” I assure you, this team will give everything to bring you the Kingdom!
