We were asked to write a blog about how we felt before leaving on this mission trip. Here is what I’m expecting….
The launch date is just a few months away! I’m excited and optimistic about everything! I’m also ready to meet the team! Honestly, I’m not too nervous or even that worried. If you would, please pray for my family. Pray that they will have peace throughout this whole year, and pray that our Father will provide them with the comfort that only He can give. Pray for my team. Pray for their strength, health, family, obedience, and any relationships they may have left. Also, keep in your prayers those who have joined us in this ministry. Pray that together we will be unwavering through it all.
I expect to see God move in ways my eyes have never seen. I expect to hear His voice more clearly everyday. I expect to show love in ways I never have before. I expect to be bold in Christ, and share the victory He has won! I expect to carry the burdens of my team, and pray for them constantly. I expect to be a changed man of God by the end of the trip. I expect to see God’s children, and the rest of His creation the same way He does. I expect to give my all for a cause that is greater than I even know. I expect to worship, with everything!
