Our team had an incredible month in Thailand. We had the opportunity to serve with the Ruth Center. Their main focus is to minister to the elderly who live in the slums and who have basically been forgotten by their families and society. As a result we were able to serve in a variety of ways during the month. We helped with the weekly Bible study for the grandmas, went on house visits, helped with the Dream Project (a program that gives grandmas a chance to earn money by sewing different items that can be sold), landscaping and pouring concrete to help improve the Ruth Center, and we were able to lead an English Club at the local university.
We were also blessed with some INCREDIBLE contacts for the month that we had the opportunity to serve alongside. Our team is so thankful for them! So with that being said here is an overview of our month through video:
