I've been meaning to write this blog for a few weeks now, but am finally putting the video and everything together to do it. When we were in Nepal our contact was involved with about 16 different types of ministry. One of those, that we were able to serve in, was Bible Distribution. This ministry provided the only "FREE" Bible Distribution in Nepal. They also provided some nicer study Bibles that people could purchase. Many people can't afford the Bibles in the few other places they are sold around the country, so they will come to Kathmandu to get the Bibles offered there. If you've seen some of my other blogs you know about some of the things these people face on a daily basis. They are hungry for the word of God and that's where you come in. The ministry obviously needs Bibles to be able do what they do. Our contact asked if we would send out a message asking for people to support what they do. So maybe you have a small group, a youth group, your church, or some other group that might be able to collect Bibles and send them to our contact in Nepal. Generally people came looking for NIV Study Bibles, so that would be preferred, but they will take whatever they can get. They don't have to be brand new, but they need to be in good condition.
