First off I want to start by saying that I have had such an awesome week!
I have been staying busy working. I work some with my dad doing tile and I also found an opportunity to make an extra few hundred dollars which I will be able to put to good use with supplies.
Today while at the mall I was just walking along heading to look at some items when these three kids stop me. At first I didn't know what to think. These kids might want some money or something was going through my head. But they went on to ask me if I believed in God? I told them Yes! We sat down and everyone shared their testimony. It was great hearing theirs and seeing what God is doing in the young people of the area. I was able to give some encouraging word. Then they prayed over me for my trip which is, Awesome! When I was in youth at a middle school age I recall several times going out and just helping people approaching people about their faith but I never remember praying over them. It just made my day.
Tomorrow my squad mate Buff and I, http://stevenbuffington.theworldrace.org/ , are going to be going camping for a couple nights on the lake! Looking forward to that just getting to relax it will be a nice feeling!
The days are ticking away and I have yet to find any support. I am just getting my letters mailed off, I hope to hear from you all soon. I am excited to see the response!
