The World Race is an 11-month Christian mission trip to 11 different countries around the world, and it’s not your typical missions experience. It’s a way for young adults to abandon a traditional lifestyle in exchange for a dramatic paradigm shift. Through adventure, ministry, community, and self-discovery, World Racers develop broken hearts that propel their hands to act for God’s kingdom around the globe. The best part of the World Race is it’s merely the beginning of a life-long journey.
The World Race is more than a Christian mission trip; it’s a year of self-discovery and real, authentic empowerment.
World Racer Eric Hanson says, “It has been a
wild ride. I will never be the same. My heart has forever been touched, I am being molded and formed, and I cannot go back to who I was before.”
Mallorie Miller says, “This experiential learning has proved both challenging and rewarding. I have learned that we are created to live in community with others, which reveals our truest selves. My teammates have seen me at my best and at my worst. This is a school of transformation.”
Brady Denger says, “The World Race is about saving me.
Saving me from a life of complacency. Saving me from comfort. Saving me from a life where I fulfilled my dreams but not necessarily God’s dreams for me. And while the World Race is focusing on saving me, I’m learning that it’s not about me at all. I’m learning that the world is not about me. Even my own life isn’t about me. I’m learning to dream God’s dreams. I’m learning who I am. I’m starting to find the true person that God created in me.”
