My name is Tyler Brent Hunt and first off I would like to personally thank you for visiting my blog! Just to provide a little background about myself and what I stand for in life, I will use this section to describe my walk with Christ thus far. I will turn 21 years old on November 11th and the past couple years of my life have been some of the best times I have experienced. After conquering High School and turning over a new leaf at a great university pursuing a degree in Criminology, I was planning on following my dream to become a Kentucky State Police Trooper. I had life all planned out and picture perfect….BUT I quickly learned that God was approaching me with HIS plan.

God began to speak to me an placed mission work on my heart. I was surprised and unwilling to accept this plan due to that I already had my life set out with a major goal. I began to lose sleep and spent countless hours reading over blogs, watching videos and looking at pictures. After much thinking, praying, and just sitting down reading the word of God, I finally realized that I couldn't ignore this calling. In the past, the mission field crossed my mind because my uncle, Gary Black, assisted in the growth of starting The World Race. After God making it clear that this was His plan for me, it was the time to apply and get started on my journey.

It was tough to accept this journey and picture myself teaching the word of God in 11 different countries in 11 months. Personally, I thought that I couldn't make a difference and that I was just one small person in the Kingdom of God. Proverbs 8: 33,34 states that we must "Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not. Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors." After reading this, I was provided comfort and understanding that God has had this planned for me and I will accept his instruction because I have all my faith in Him.

Mission work is a very daunting task, but Jesus commands us all to be disciples and tell the world about the Good News. Matthew 28:19,20 says "Go ye therefore, and teach all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of world. A-men." This is what I am going to do. From 2012-2013, I will be doing this across the world and when I return home, I will continue to follow His word and be a witness to others. Witnessing to others is very powerful and our Father can speak volumes through us to the lost and undone. Being a witness and helping the children of God is my goal.

In closing, I am going to leave you with this scripture that I hold dear to my heart. Never feel unworthy or useless. If you have accepted Jesus Christ into your life, then as a child of Christ, you have purpose. A purpose in your life that God has already figured out and laid before you. In times of tribulation and uncertainty, remember this scripture and apply it.

Proverbs 3:5,6
"Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
