Over the past 11 months God has spoke to me personally. In every different country our Father had something new to reveal or share. He has poured out much of His wisdom and knowledge my way. So none of these things were learned on my own. All were gifts from God spoken over/to me to share. It has been a CRAZY RIDE!!! and yes I still am a BIG SINNER.
11.) GUARD the wisdom that has been entrusted to me.
DO NOT ever forget to protect the investment Jesus has made in each and every single one of our lives. Because I don't know if you know yet but…..YOU are an investment that Jesus has paid for!
10.) He has given a promise and a promise He alone will keep.
It is a promise of REDEMPTION and RESCUE. This is not anything less than what it sounds like. His word is TRUTH and LIGHT. And when our Father came to live with us He alone promised Rescue and redemption from evil. So LIVE your life with this promise in your hearts. Live DIFFERENTLY than those living in this world. They will notice.
9.) My NEW identity is in Jesus and will ALWAYS be in Jesus.
After these past 11 months I found out how confused I was about my identity before the race. But now I can see that there is NO confusion, crisis, or conflict. And when there is any confusion Jesus reveals it immediately.
8.) I HAVE SONSHIP OVER SLAVERY!!! I AM A SON!!!
This one might be the most important for me. I am a son not a slave or orphan. I am apart of my Father's holy family as a son. A SON!!! That means I have a place were I belong. It is so good to walk in this sonship and freedom. Without the feeling or chains holding me down in the same place all the time. We all have found favor with Jesus.
7.) I have a position of authority in this world.
I am and always will be under God my Father but above this world. Above others who live for this world. This does not mean I am better than them or more important. It just means I have been given wisdom and insight that they might not have yet. I am still imperfect and a sinner. But my position is great and my authority is the highest we know.
6.) God has great Provision and timing.
He will ALWAYS provide. and He will ALWAYS go by His timing. There is nothing we can do about that but submit and give away control. It might be hard at times but He is the master at these 2 things. TRUST ME!!! or don't and read the Bible. You will see.
5.) Be ACTIVE in your faith and not passive.
As sons and daughters we are never to let FEAR run our decisions. Our decisions should be run by faith and trust in Jesus. Fear is a tool the devil uses to cloud your minds and separate you from Jesus. Do not sit back and expect others to serve in mission. GO, RUN, CHANGE this world in the name of Jesus!!!
4.) GRACE, GRACE, GRACE!!!
Have Grace ALWAYS. Your team will thank you for it and feedback you when you don't. Have Grace because the Father has never stopped having it with us.
3.) I don't work for my identity I work FROM it.
We are sent into this world not to labor for an identity but to labor for Jesus. An identity is received from our Father not achieved from works, money, fame, etc.
2.) If I die……I die.
There were many times on THE WORLD RACE where I just knew I was going to die. And it scared me to be honest. Death is scary but I just had to accept that if it happens then I will only die to this world. I then will become alive again with JESUS! and that my friends is a good thing.
1.) LOVE IS A CHOICE!!!
Love is a choice not a feeling. Jesus did not fall in and out of love with His followers. YOUR CHOICE to love your team. YOUR CHOICE to love your ministry. YOUR CHOICE to love where you live…..EVEN WHEN YOU DON'T!!! Joy comes from the Lord. You have to choose it each day you wake up.
