In NARNIA IM FAMOUS!!!

Team Unveiled Pursuit does it ALL. From teaching english (to the best of our abilities), to signing autographs, taking pictures, shaking babies, kissing hands WE DO IT ALL!!!! (remix up that last one). With our first week already done thats what it felt like. Celebrities being shuttled from one event to another, person after person, meeting after meeting, class after class. Thats what a city with a true need looks like. Tiraspol has a need and that need has been found in the way of Jesus Christ.

You ask why Narnia? Because we have NO IDEA how we ended up here but it dosent matter anymore because the need is here and we will do our best to serve and teach and love all the same as Jesus did. They pulled us (literally) into the classroom to teach as soon as we arrived and it didn’t stop all week. 

In the bible Jesus teaches about serving the needs of the people and how serving them in love serves Jesus directly. Well the need here in Tiraspol is a learning for english and an education but they just need help. They need an education for some sort of a freedom to break away from this place that still wants their old ways of Communism back. A place that dresses up in the nicest clothes they have to be looked at as successful and not looked down upon. They want to be loved and known. The best part is that the most important person ever is alive and knows them better than themselves.

   2 Corinthians 5:14-17~ For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised. From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come!

Teaching english here in Tiraspol has been one of the most amazing joys in my life

 so far. This part of the world race has been so exciting because not only do I feel like Im helping in many unique and practical ways but Im sharing and showing the Gospel with every single student that I meet. It feels good to be loved by the people God has put in our path on our journey here. It just makes me smile even more when they all drop their mouths because they just met really Americans.

 And continue to ask “WHY ARE YOU EVEN HERE?”  

 And I say haha “Well let me TELL YOU!”……..Amen thank you Jesus

Its just so refreshing to have some of these interactions we have had and continue to have because of how interested these people are with our presence here and how it continues to show me how legit it is to have the PRESENCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT leading people into our paths. Our team has been working insanely hard to do as much as possible while here to make an impact.    

We have been shown GRACE. It is because of GRACE we are here on the WR. It is because of GRACE all our contacts are amazing (even when we can’t communicate fully). It is because of GRACE that each and every place we have gone to has a very specific need. It is because of GRACE we ALL have been given chance after chance of forgiveness in Christ Jesus. HOLY HOLY HOLY is the Lord God Almighty who was and is and is to come!!!

This month is also very interesting because we wil not be staying in the same housing all month like normal but changing weekly (YES WEEKLY). That means 4 different places this month and then on top that a 72 hour travel time from here to Africa in May!!!WOW……so please keep praying and just praising God for ALL his Grace he has shown you in your life. Especially living in the states.
