Title: These Burning Walls
Burning with a desire for more than just this life
screaming thoughts and feelings at us
with no time for any reaction but to hide behind these Walls…
Burning Walls built up in place of community and trust
that shower others with a sense of warmth and comfort
but its all false and only burns us in the end.
These Burning Walls they consume the reality of the truth
in our own lives
Like the fires of lies that spread across our lives
Nobody is free from this disease
because it starts from the inside
Filtering the own nerves used to keep us alive.
These Burning Walls boil the blood from the inside out
creating a tension and discomfort only our Maker can pour out.
And pour it out He does for God is a God of Redemption
How could we ever imagine a solution to a problem so big
we can’t that is why he did
Did…..over and over and over again
never trying only doing what he planned
All along his plan is the key
We just need to show him where the door and the lock are
in me
All people know the lives they live but the
funny thing is its all fake
Not knowing when to stop
when to go
when will God ever show
Show up inside to pour in so we can pour out
these lies that fuel the fire
the fire that burns these walls.
