Mission of Hope International/ Haiti
So Everybody sorry for the delayed blog BUTTTT the internet where we are staying in Haiti is only going to happen once a week sooo with that lets give some ups dates shall we……..
Ok we are in Garden Goave, Haiti which is about 2 hours outside of Port a Prince. Our whole world race team 46 people are living all together in the M.O.H compound which is right off the beach…..really right off like 5 steps outside the walls. Not only have we been blessed with the beach and a safe place to camp in our tents ALL MONTH BUT we also have running water (Thank the LORD), we have bathrooms with showers, and our meals are prepared for us everyday (yes breakfast, lunch, and dinner) but we are in charge of dishes and all clean up. GOD REALLY BLESSED US THIS MONTH!!!
Our whole team will be working on construction for Mission of Hope International (Missionofhope.org) who is currently under construction with a new church, orphanage, and a very big school for the children. This place has asked our team to dig, pour concrete, teach, cut rebar, and anything else the need. The Haitian people WORK THE HARDEST I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! They work all day and it seems like it doesn’t get them anywhere. Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere and it shows. But there smiles and laughter are Priceless. God is at work here!!!
The first day in Haiti I woke up to the smell of the ocean breeze and the most amazing sunrise I have ever seen. After we had breakfast our team walked to church. Church here was breath taking and beautiful!!! The people lifted up there glorious praise in awe inspiring music and prayer. Its a true INSPIRATION!!!

The challenges I have faced in the past 2 weeks have revolved around not holding back anything and loving people like never before. Swimming deeper in my faith than I ever have before while not fearing anything else. Its like sometimes I’m out in the middle of the ocean getting ready to dive as deep below the surface but all of a sudden I get scared because I won’t be able to breath. But thats what God does in our lives HE LETS US BREATH!!! GOD HAS CALLED MY NAME AND ALL WHO LISTEN and that is something I have trouble grasping. The place we are all at is INCREDIBLE and can’t believe this is where we all will be serving in Christ’s Holy name. Haiti will be a great place to learn what it looks like to start listening and living by the Holy Spirit. This place has God’s hand prints all over it and I will continue to look and listen to what God has planned in this place!!!GOD IS LOVE!!!
