I think too often we miss Jesus in the little moments of life. As Americans we are SO busy. We always have somewhere to go, things to accomplish, and better things we can be doing with our time.

As a {soon-to-be} World Racer, I’ve got a lot I need to do. One big task I need to accomplish is getting my immunizations for the year to come. Until you research it, you have no idea how involved this is.

This past week I decided I needed to knock some things off my to-do list so I called my Dr. to see what immunizations I have had so I can call the travel department and get the immunizations I need. I figured I had a pretty good plan in place {of course}. I had decided that 4:00 would be the PERFECT time to call because who calls the Dr.’s office at 4?!

4:00 comes around and I place my call to the office. It rings for a while before telling me I needed to wait for the next available person. WHAT? How are they all busy? *annoying* So I wait a few minutes before deciding this is obviously not actually putting me on hold and if I call back someone will surly answer. Attempt 2 happens and I go through the same recording. After waiting a few minutes I become more irritated because this is ridiculous. I hang up and I am so sure that the 3rd time will be the charm!

After a few moments I call back, and to my relief someone answers! It was a really sweet lady who was patient as I explained everything I need from my Dr. for my appointment. We talk for a few minutes before she asks me if I was going on a mission’s trip and where I was going. I told her yes, and that I was going to 11 countries. She then told me to hang on…she was adding me to her prayer list.

Ok God. The joke is on me! Here I am getting frustrated that I can’t get a task done in the time I wanted and He was orchestrating a divine moment for this particular lady to answer so she could pray for me.

I say all of this to challenge each of us to see Jesus in the little moments of life. Trust that God is letting things happen to you because He has a plan. I know I learned not to get so frustrated and annoyed. God’s timing is always perfect!

I also want to thank everyone {from the bottom of my heart} that has donated to my Race. God has used each of you to blow my mind and radically alter the way I see God. I doubted I would get enough support for this trip, but I am trusting Jesus and He is using YOU to send me to the nations! How awesome! Thank you for partnering with me!

With that said, I am in need of a little less that $700 to meet my next financial goal of $7,500. I must meet this goal by December 18th in order to launch with my squad. Would you prayerfully consider supporting me in this mission?
