Exploring on our day off, the old part of Quito, it’s massive and breath taking cathedral and an airport that was turned into a park. Finding beauty in the small details and enjoying the simplicity of the big. We ventured in places we weren’t supposed to go, for instance climbing to the top of the cathedral from part of the outside just to get the best view, or sitting on the edges to get the best shot. Climbing literally everything in the park and getting strange looks from locals. It all makes for a great weekend, unforgettable memories and a full heart.
