There is a crazy awesome lightening storm going on outside my window. I haven't seen anything like it in years. Not even half a second goes by without the sky lighting up in pure white. Thunder almost consistently rolls with a powerful punch every other minute of a bolt of lightening escaping from the sky and hitting the ground. It makes me feel alive and I just want to run outside and scream and roar in the rain and lightening storm. Today also marks the last month I have in the states before I leave for the World Race.

I was reading a chapter of Wild at Heart tonight and I came upon this:

“The Lord is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father’s God, and I will exalt him. The Lord is a warrior; the Lord is his name. (Exodus 15:2, 3 NIV)

God is a warrior and we are too. Boom goes the dynamite… I mean lightening! Haha.

I'm so excited for the year ahead! I have no idea what I am getting myself into, but I do know one thing for sure, my Abba Father is powerful and He is ready to do a powerful thing in my heart this year.
