UNITY.
How can 41 strangers feel like family in one week?
"May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 15:5
Unity is what I have been earnestly seeking God for leading up to Training Camp. Unity for our squad. Unity for believers in our church. Unity for believers in the U.S. and around the world.
My prayer was for our squad to supernaturally feel like family. Truly brothers and sisters in Christ just as God intended. Yesterday, we found out who are teams will be for the next year. I felt an instant release of peace after the names of my new family were announced.
We were told to ask the Lord to direct our afternoon. We prayed for divine appointments. Ask and you shall receive! We came across a church and went inside to pray over the sanctuary for the services the following Sunday. As we were praying, a woman came in to ask us to pray over the conference room. She was in charge of a pro-life event the following day. She had heard us on the intercom asking if we could come pray and thought, "God are these the people you sent to pray for the conference?" It was a blessing to encourage the body of Christ! She was a blessing to us as well!
As we walked back to the car, I thought to myself how I alone probably would not walk into a random church to ask if I could pray. However, as a family, we encourage and empower one another. I thought, "satan is so afraid of a group of believer's empowered by the Holy Spirit." I mean really! He is so afraid! Nothing can stop us! Nothing is impossible!
Team Happy Feet is my family! E Squad is my family! We are powerful united together in Christ's love!
