Ooooookay bare with me! For some of you this maybe hard to read. This blog is about our churches….our own personal views towards people…judging… This past Saturday I went to a Casting Crowns concert and one of there songs is called City on a HIll … that song and Friends of Sinners I have really been praying about. Where I am from there are churches on every corner. Knowing Jesus is like drinking water down here. Everyone knows Him, but its just so routine. And I think people are starting to make there own form of Christian beliefs in churches. I think we are getting so far from the Truth! The song City on the Hill is talking about how all these different people could not see eye to eye on things. And they just chose to leave it all behind, but in the end they found out they ALL have something to offer each other! I think we are starting to make churches like high school was. I think its becoming to clickish. Cool kids hang with cool kids…jocks hang with jocks… bookworms hang with bookworms. Elders hang with elders and the youth shy away from the elders. But see the beauty is…. at the end of the song they see this… they see WE are ALL the Body! And if we all do not work together we will never reach our full potential as a church in whole! We will always remain an average church…a broken church! See this is why I love my E squad…Team Tharros… We are all verrrrrrrrrrrry different! We are alllllllll very weird in our on ways, but see we already knew this and we gave up all rights so we could just become ONE team and work TOGETHER for HIS KINGDOM! Isnt that whats its all about right? For His glory? So that moves me to the my next point in our churches…. WE are WAY to JUDGEMENTAL!!!!!! Do you remember forgive 7 times 70? Do you remember all sin is the same? I think some of us need to get of our high holy horses and be friends of the sinners. I know my Jesus was, so why aren't we? My Jesus walked the dirty streets.. He ate with the broken hearted. He washed feet….so why do we just stick with our little clicks? This is that really bugs me… people just say thats just high school drama….well why does it still remain in our lives when we get out? No its just high school students… it is in adults as well! Come on guys! We are all in the same boat… we are ONE BODY …ONE CHURCH…. I will tell you now… I do not care if you had sex before marriage….robbed a store….have drug problems…disobey your parents….lie…cheat… ALL SIN IS THE SAME … so why do try to make levels for our sin? Its all the same in His eyes? He hates it all, yet He forgives us! So we need to just leave it alllllllllllll behind us and move forward as ONE! So church body, I am speaking to you! When you get that new person at your church and you hear their life story…. and your first thought is oooooooooohhh myyyyyyy She/He does not belong in MY CHURCH?!? I am telling you now.. You need to get on your knees and ask for forgiveness! Your eyes and heart need to be changed! Instead of feeling as though they do not belong… why don't you get on your knees and wash their feet! Let them know they are forgiven! If Heaven was made up of perfect people it would be EMPTY! Come on guys! Lets build each other up! Lets rock His Kingdom! Lets break down walls! Lets sing and dance as ONE! Lets get over our pride… our childish ways and just truly become ONE CHURCH BODY! Always remember we are the hands and feet and He is the Head of all things! I love you guys! Thanks for listening to what I have been praying about ! It has been huge on my heart this week! I pray you feel the same and feel challanged to speak up for this matter as well!
