The Kingdom of God is everything in the heavens and the earth!

Luke 12:32
" Jesus said "' Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom."

This past summer as you know if you have read my about me blog. You saw that I was a part of a local mission trip, and also saw that the moment I got saved I felt the calling to missionary. Well the first year after I got saved and got connected with my church I just thought my mission field was overseas. I always had a love for the children in need overseas. Well, this past year is when Kyle Worley our college/youth leader joined up with the church and we started our college group. Our first study was through Jonah, and it was simply amazing. For he is an amazing teacher and I have never read the book of Jonah. Well the main point of the book of Jonah in my point was hard missions. God always puts things in our life that is so HARD for us to seek God through just like Jonah going to preach to the city of which he hated! Right away I knew what one of my hard missions was, and that was my home life. It is a true war zone and takes a lot of out me, but I learned to let Him be strong for me and I grow everyday in this hard mission! I knew that also this town needed God, but I really did not want it to be my mission field as well. It was easier for me to just tell the youth this is your mission field and go out and spread His love then for me to go out and do it myself! Well God soon rocked that boat! I was a leader on that local mission trip and with worked with Out Reach Port Arthur. They are working on setting up a vietnamese church, but also studies and prays with all sorts of races. We did a lot of door to door mission work, but one of the things that hit me hard was when we visited a buddhist temple and it used to be a Christian church. So where a cross usaully is in the sanctuary there was a buddha! It broke me down, because I was so focused on going overseas and not what I could have been offering the Kingdom of God in my own town while I was here!!! So for a little encouragement… We all have hard missions, but you have to listen to God. We don't need to ask God why this or I think it will be better if I go this way instead.  He put me with my family for a reason, and I live in Groves, Texas for a reason. It does not matter where you live… where you work… where you go to school… do not be selfish with your faith… even when your waiting to go off like I was… You can still be a missionary at your home town! Every where we go is a mission field!! So use my mistake of not seeing and listening sooner, so you do not miss chances like I did for a long time!

We all need our King of kings!!!!
