Michael and Kathy began their journey with the World Race in
January 2008 as coaches of the Jan ’08 “E” Squad.  It took almost no
time at all for them to discover a similar heart and vision.  They fell
in love with the World Race, literally overnight.

Michael and Kathy are native Michiganders.  In southeast
Michigan, they’ve lived, worked, and raised three sons: Nicholas, Jason
and Wade.  They are both registered nurses, but followed God’s call into
full-time ministry almost 15 years ago.

Michael’s
call to Adventures in Missions as the Director of the World Race came
toward the end of his coaching of the Jan ’08 squad.  God’s call came to
begin speaking to the young adult generation and mobilizing them into
international ministry.  Michael and Kathy are the first to admit that
this has been an adventure of a lifetime.

While the majority of his free time is spent developing people
all over the city, country and the world, Michael enjoys golfing,
hunting, fishing and is an avid reader (Michael reads on average 300
books a year).  As a brilliant thinker and teacher, Michael has a wealth
of wisdom to impart.
