After our village ministry was over, we returned to Morogoro. We had a travel day and our weekly day off to rest up. Apparently, it was not enough though.

On our day off, two of my team members started feeling sick so they went to the doctor. That night I started feeling really sick. I was awake all night with nausea, no appetite, and low energy. Most of my team and Team Rodeo started feeling sick too. We all went to the doctor and had blood tests. When mine came back, it turned out I did not have Malaria or Typhoid this time. I had worms instead. They gave me three medications to take.

I have been recovering for the past 3 or 4 days. One of the nights I was recovering, I was awake all night with nausea and trips to the bathroom.   I started feeling better so I did not go to the doctor. The next night I started feeling sick again for a little while and then fell asleep. I went to the doctor again and was given two new medications.

I am feeling much better now. The medications are working on getting the parasites out of my body. 2 Doctor Visits, 3 Tests Given, 5 Medications= 16500 Tanzanian Schillings (around $11.00 US).
