We have two teams working together here in Manila- my all-women team (called W.O.W.) and Mac Mitchell’s team (formerly Lovebound but the new name is still being determined).  Phil (from my old team Team Arrow) is now on Mac’s team.

When we arrived at Kids International Ministries (K.I.M. for short) this month, Jeff (the Director) said that each person could pretty much choose any ministry this month.  If his ministry is not already involved in that type of ministry, he will help us get connected with a ministry that is already set up.

K.I.M. is in charge of many different aspects of ministry: feeding people, working with orphans, working with youth, unloading and loading shipping containers for orphans, a homeless soccer team, a Spa that teaches Filipino women a trade, and a magazine for the homeless.  Their website is: www.kidsim.org.  Each person was able to choose the best ministry for their skill set.  My team members and I are working with all of the ministries listed above in some capacity.

Some of our members are also working with a seperate ministry here- a prostitute ministry here in the Philippines.  It is called “Samaritana Transformational Ministries, Inc.”  Their website is: www.samaritana.org.

Please pray for us as we try to find time to connect with our new team with the challenge of our different ministry schedules.  Thank you for your support!!
